DirectX is a library of drivers from Microsoft, designed to improve the quality of audio and video from Windows. These drivers are absolutely essential for many games, and highly recommended if you use the PC for any type of multimedia activity.
Note:
Once you download the file “directx_aug2008_redist.exe” run it. A window where you indicate that the program folder decompress. Click on “browse”, select a folder and click on OK. Once unpacked the program in the folder you chose, run the file “DXSETUP.exe” to finally start the installation.
